Les Sables³ d’Olonne, a beach and sailing haunt（栖息地，常去的地方） , is offering €850 (£750) a week to one man and one woman to rub（擦） lotion on to tourists from mid-July to late August.

The two “creamers”, as they are called in French, will be picked by a jury in June after pre-selection by voting on the internet. The winners are expected to be outgoing（乐于助人的） , with good speaking skills and some medical knowledge.

“We are recruiting two young people who will apply crème（乳油，烈性甜酒） solaire（日出风） and above all advise tourists on protection,” said François Boche, the director of the town’s tourist office. Free suncream will be handed out and priority will be given to children, in the presence of their parents.

In 2008 it turned a beached cargo⁷ ship, The Artemis, into a tourist attraction. The area is part of the mid-Atlantic region that was hit last month by storm flooding that killed 55 people.
