Chinanews, March 29 - According to a report by Singtao Daily, a tourist from Gansu Province recently committed suicide by jumping into the sea near Tsim Sha Tsui. Hong Kong Police confirmed that the tourist is the father of a crazy fan of Andy Lau, the famous Hong Kong actor and singer, from Gansu.   The crazy fan, named Yang Lijuan, claimed that she dreamed of Lau when she was 16. From then on, Yang had longed to see Lau, and she even dropped school to fulfill the dream. What's more, her parents gave all-out support to her.   Her father, 68, was a retired teacher in Lanzhou. He and his wife spent all the money they got, and even mortgaged their house, to finance their daughter's journeys to Hong Kong.   On March 25, Yang finally met Lau in her fourth journey to Hong Kong, at a fans' meeting. However, she thought that the meeting was not "private enough", and demanded another one. Yang's father was very disappointed, and eventually took his own life.   In Yang's father's will, he complained about Lau's "coldness", and ask Hong Kong SAR government to take care of his wife and daughter.   Yang and her mother still wish Lau could arrange a "satisfactory meeting" with her alone, and Yang's mother said that she felt proud of her husband and daughter.   It is said that the Yangs had borrowed some 11,000 yuan for the journey, and their house had been redeemed. The mother and daughter would be sent back to the Chinese mainland on March 28.
