A Chinese corruption¹ suspect who was on the country's list of the 100 most-wanted fugitives³ has returned to China after giving himself up.

61-year old Xiao Jianming used to be chairman of Yunnan Tin Corporation and a senior official of Yunnan Financial and Economic Committee.

He is the 58th returned fugitive² on China's Interpol red notice.

China's Interpol National Central Bureau released a list of 100 fugitives suspected of involvement in corruption in 2015, all of whom are on Interpol's red notice for international arrest.

Many of the fugitives were former government staff or employees of state-owned enterprises.
