The airport of Boao, host of the Boao Forum¹ for Asia in Hainan Province, is expected to begin trial operations in March to serve this year's conference.

博鳌机场有望于今年三月试运营，为本年度博鳌亚洲论坛服务。

Construction of the airport began in March last year with an investment of over 1 billion yuan, or 170 million U.S. dollars.

Currently, the construction has entered its final stage. It will be completed in February.
