The 1.5-kilogram drone is equipped with two sensors² in the front, which enable it to track set objects by itself and also avoid obstacles automatically.

 

The new generation of drone can be operated through applications installed on iPads or other smart devices, making it easier for users to generate aerial images.

 

Ross Robbin, director of Albany-based Industrial Analysis, says that once the moving direction or speed of a set object changes, the drone can detect the change by itself and readjust automatically.

 

"One of the key new features is its ability to track people. You know we tend to see a lot aerial footage with people skiing or biking or engaging in other activities, and it's very important to be able to track the subject as it moves around. In addition, the ease of piloting that's enabled by this iPad application should serve to make drone flying a lot more approachable."
