Researchers have revealed the celebrity1 names that British parents most often pick for their children.
Unsurprising favourites uncovered in the study included Kylie with 7,261 new namesakes, Britney with 1,611 and Keanu's 1,120. Topping the list overall for females was Keira, brought to favour by actress Knightley.
Others dug out from the trawl through birth records since 1984 are more quirky - with two Supermans, six Gandalfs and two Reeboks.
The research was carried out by family history website findmypast.com by looking through the National Archives it holds as online records.

其中，取名为凯莉（凯莉·米诺，澳大利亚女歌星）的有7261人；取名为布莱妮的有1611人；取名为基努的有1120人。最受青睐的女孩名是凯拉，源自英国女演员凯拉·奈特莉（曾主演《傲慢与偏见》）。
调查人员在1984年以来的出生记录中还发现了几个新潮的名字：有两人取名为“超人”；六人取名为"甘多夫"（《魔戒》中的白衣巫师）；还有两人取名叫“锐步”。
此项调查的结果由家庭史网站findmypast.com通过查阅英国国家档案库的有关在线记录得出。
