在线餐饮平台饿了么7月22日发布的一份报告显示，在新冠肺炎疫情期间，约有1.2万名00后大学生兼职送外卖。成都、上海和长沙是年轻外卖骑士最多的地方。

During the COVID-19 epidemic¹, about 12,000 post-2000 generation college students took part-time jobs in food delivery service, according to a report released by online catering² platform Eleme on Wednesday. 

 

Post-2000 generation members who take part-time jobs at Eleme can earn an extra 3,000 yuan a month on average, the report said. 

Among those who have taken part-time jobs to deliver food, 26% have a bachelor's degree or above. 

 

Chengdu, Shanghai and Changsha are the most popular locations for these young deliverymen. 

 

In addition to the flexible nature of the work, which fits in with students' daily life, some students take the job to reduce stress during exams, the report said. 

 

Moreover, part-time delivery is a practical way for them to get in touch with people, some students said. 

 

The report said the post-2000 generation deliverymen are more accepting of this kind of job than other generations, and of those, half would recommend the job to other people.
