Chinanews, Chengdu, Sept 21 – An ecological1 vacational center named Panda Town will debut2 in Chengdu next year, the Tianfu Morning Paper reported.
In the next three to five years, the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Center will be built into a large ecological theme park with multiple functions. It will be a giant panda protection center but also a scientific research base for giant pandas, where people can get much knowledge about giant pandas and also do other leisure activities. It can also serve as a conference venue3 for scholars. The Panda Town will consist of a village garden, an innovative4 entertainment center, an international conference hall, and an international community center. When completed, the Panda Town and the Giant Panda Ecological Garden will together form the international ecological vacational center.
