Chinanews, Beijing, July 26 – A report on computer virus and Internet safety released on Wednesday shows that during the first half of this year, over half of the computers in Chinese mainland were attacked by various kinds of virus at least once.
The report was released by Rising Technology Company, the largest company in China that deals with information safety. The report shows that during the first half of the year, the number of new virus detected by the company reached 130,000, 10% more than the same period of last year. According to the report, the widespread of computer virus has become possible since production of virus has now become an industry. Many viruses are made through batch1 processing by companies that have developed a mature virus production chain. In addition, many domestic softwares are lacking in anti-virus measures, making these softwares vulnerable to virus attacks.
