Chinanews, Hong Kong, April 25 - The two gift pandas from the Chinese central government will arrive in Hong Kong on April 26. The citizens there will be able to visit them on July 1, after a 60-day quarantine.
The pandas will be sent in a special car to the Chengdu Airport, where they will fly to Hong Kong in a chartered Boeing-747 at 7:30 am on April 26. It is estimated that they will arrive in Hong Kong at 4 or 5 pm. In their journey, they will be accompanied by a veterinarian and a breeder from Wolong Giant Panda Research Center. Their final destination, the Ocean Park has also assigned a veterinarian, a veterinarian nurse and a breeder to receive them.
