Chinanews, Beijing, Oct. 9 – The Beijing Municipal Small Animal Protection Association reveals that at present, Beijing has 400,000 stray cats and dogs. Their excessive reproduction has already affected¹ the city image seriously.

The association has asked veterinarians from 52 pet hospitals to join in a public campaign and give sterilization² operations to some 1,204 stray animals.
