Premier¹ Li Keqiang said in a congratulatory letter to the 2022 Pujiang Innovation Forum² on Saturday that China seeks low-carbon development while pursuing modernization³, and expressed the will to strengthen all-around international collaboration⁴.

国务院总理李克强8月27日向2022年浦江创新论坛致贺信。李克强指出，中国要在实现现代化的过程中走低碳绿色发展之路，并强调要全方位加强国际合作。

 

Li said that low-carbon development concerns the future of the world, and innovation is the foremost driving force to lead this development.

李克强表示，低碳发展事关全球绿色未来，创新是引领发展的第一动力。

 

As the world's largest developing country, China chose to realize its modernization via low-carbon and green development efforts, which is unprecedented⁵ in the history of humanity, and can only be achieved with arduous⁶ efforts, Li said.

李克强指出，作为世界上最大的发展中国家，中国要在实现现代化的过程中走低碳绿色发展之路，这在人类历史上没有先例，需要付出艰苦卓绝的努力才能实现。

 

China unswervingly upholds the policy of opening-up, and will further expand high-level opening-up to deepen reform, promote high-quality development, and strengthen all-around international cooperation and in-depth communications, in order to achieve a win-win situation, Li added.

李克强强调，中国坚持对外开放基本国策不动摇，以高水平开放促进深层次改革、推动高质量发展，全方位加强国际合作，深化交流互鉴，更好实现互利共赢。
