Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has made her first public appearance since news broke of her tax problems last year.

Fan Bingbing has been spotted¹ at a banquet celebrating online video platform iQiyi's ninth anniversary.

Her reappearance in public has been documented in photos put out on an online fan page.

Fan Bingbing had not been seen in public since allegations of her tax evasion² came to light in October. Investigators³ say she evaded⁴ roughly 7.3 million yuan ($1.07 million) in personal income and business taxes during her work on Chinese film "The Bombing."
