12月20日，国家语言资源监测与研究中心、商务印书馆、光明网、腾讯公司联合主办的“汉语盘点2021”揭晓仪式在北京举行。

 

“治”“建党百年”“疫”“元宇宙”分别当选年度国内字、国内词、国际字、国际词。

 

年度国内字：治 governance

 

小事治事、大事治制，推进国家治理能力现代化（the modernization¹ of China's governance capacity）是一个系统工程，中国的制度优势正在转化为治理效能。

 

年度国内词：建党百年 the Centenary of the Communist Party of China

 

百年如此之长，百年如同一瞬。一百年来，中国共产党团结带领中国人民进行的一切奋斗、一切牺牲、一切创造，归结起来就是一个主题：实现中华民族伟大复兴（achieve the great rejuvenation² of the Chinese nation）。

年度国际词：元宇宙 metaverse

 

“元宇宙（metaverse）”源于小说《雪崩》的科幻概念，现指在XR（extended reality，扩展现实）、数字孪生（digital twin）、区块链（blockchain）和AI（artificial intelligence，人工智能）等技术推动下形成的虚实相融的互联网应用和社会生活形态（lifestyle that combines both the digital and physical world）。现阶段，元宇宙仍是一个不断演变、不断发展的概念。
