The Ferrari racing² team has conducted demonstrations³ using one of their vehicles on the city's famous street, Reforma Avenue. The demonstration was to promote the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix which will be held in November. 

 

Esteban Gutierrez, the reserve driver for Ferrari, says the experience was unforgettable. 

 

"This was incredible. It is the first time I had an experience like this, doing 'doughnuts' in front of a crowd. All the enthusiasm, excitement and energy from all of them on this special day will always remain in my memory and my heart. It was a great experience."

 

Tickets for the race went on sale November 1st and were sold out in just a few hours after ticketing offices had opened.

 

This marks the second time that Mexico's famed avenue has been used for a Formula One display.
