QR code support for Apple products in the Chinese market is now going to be accessible, according to information released by Apple at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017, which takes place June 5-9, 2017, in San Jose, California.

With the support, cameras on Apple products will be able to directly identify barcodes and open websites or applications after scanning. 

 

Users will also be able to pay for products and services by scanning a barcode.

 

Meanwhile, Apple is also upgrading its services to include SMS fraud programming. This will shield users from spam messages from third party applications.

 

Shanghainese dictation is also being made available through new Apple upgrades. 

 

The WWDC17 in San Jose has also included the unveiling of a new high-end home speaker, as well as the new operating system, iOS11, and new and refreshed hardware, including an iPad Pro¹, iMac Pro, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
