Chinanews, Beijing, November 1 – The first graffiti exhibition will be kicked off on November 8 at the Beijing International Exhibition Hall Square, to introduce graffiti to the general public as a new form of art.
There will be a special wall of 300 m long outside of the exhibition hall, and a special Olympic-themed graffiti wall will be put up on the square, too. Visitors will be encouraged to sign their names on the wall or write down their best wishes for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Professional graffiti artists will of course be invited, to give an on-the-spot demonstration the visitors on how the art is done. Visitors will even be able to experience the art by themselves.
There will also be many graffiti-related souvenirs for sale, including T-shirts and skateboards.
