作为年度“汉语盘点”活动重要组成部分，“2021年度中国媒体十大流行语”于2021年12月13日由国家语言资源监测与研究中心发布。

 

本次发布的十大流行语为：建党百年、2020东京奥运会、中国航天、双碳、疫苗接种、双减、北交所、“清朗”行动、疫苗援助、《生物多样性公约》。

 

一、建党百年

the Centenary of the Communist Party of China

 

2021年，中国共产党迎来建党100周年。

 

2021年7月1日，庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会（Ceremony Marking the Centenary of the Communist Party of China）在北京天安门广场隆重举行，各界代表7万余人以盛大仪式欢庆中国共产党百年华诞，习近平总书记发表重要讲话。

 

2021年11月8日至11日，党的十九届六中全会（the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China）总结建党一百年来党带领人民进行伟大奋斗所取得的伟大成就和宝贵历史经验，审议通过了《中共中央关于党的百年奋斗重大成就和历史经验的决议》（Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century）。

 

中国共产党和中国人民以英勇顽强的奋斗向世界庄严宣告，中华民族迎来了从站起来、富起来到强起来的伟大飞跃，中华民族伟大复兴进入了不可逆转的历史进程。

By succeeding in their tenacious¹ struggle, the CPC and the Chinese people have shown the world that the Chinese nation has achieved the tremendous transformation² from standing³ upright to becoming prosperous and growing in strength, and that China's rejuvenation⁴ is an unstoppable historical force.

 

二、2020东京奥运会

Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games

 

2021年7月23日至8月8日在日本东京举行的第32届夏季奥林匹克运动会。受新冠肺炎疫情影响，本届奥运会延期一年举行（the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games have been postponed⁵ for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic），这也是历史上第一次空场举办的奥运会（the first Olympic Games held without spectators）。

 

2020东京奥运会参赛国家或地区总数达204个，参赛运动员共11669名。奥运会赛场充分展现了全世界运动员共克时艰、践行“更快、更高、更强、更团结”（faster, higher, stronger, together）的努力。

 

三、中国航天

China's space exploration

 

2021年中国航天事业捷报频传。

 

1月29日，随着遥感三十一号02组卫星发射升空并进入预定轨道，中国航天发射迎来2021年开门红。

 

4月29日，空间站“天和”核心舱（Tianhe core module）进入预定轨道，中国空间站在轨组装建造（assembly and construction of space station）全面展开。

 

5月15日，我国首次火星探测任务“天问”一号探测器成功着陆火星（Tianwen 1 Mars probe landed on Mars）。

 

6月17日，神舟十二号载人飞船（Shenzhou XII manned spaceship）顺利升空，3位中国航天员在“天和”核心舱中生活三个月，并首次开展较长时间的出舱活动（extravehicular activities）。

 

10月14日，我国首颗太阳探测科学技术试验卫星（China's first solar exploration satellite）“羲和号”顺利升空。

 

10月16日，神舟十三号出征，3位乘组航天员开启为期6个月的飞行任务（6-month space station mission）……

 

从载人航天（manned space programs）到探月工程（lunar exploration），从北斗组网到火星探测，中国航天事业屡获突破、飞速发展。

 

四、双碳

carbon peaking and carbon neutrality

 

“碳达峰”（carbon peaking）与“碳中和”（carbon neutrality）的简缩合称。

 

2021年3月，习近平总书记在中央财经委员会第九次会议上强调，实现碳达峰、碳中和是一场广泛而深刻的经济社会系统性变革，要把碳达峰、碳中和纳入生态文明建设整体布局（to peak carbon emissions⁶ and achieve carbon neutrality should be incorporated into the overall layout of building an ecological⁷ civilization），拿出抓铁有痕的劲头，如期实现2030年前碳达峰、2060年前碳中和的目标。

 

10月24日，中共中央、国务院印发的《关于完整准确全面贯彻新发展理念做好碳达峰碳中和工作的意见》（Working Guidance for Carbon Dioxide Peaking and Carbon Neutrality in Full and Faithful Implementation⁸ of the New Development Philosophy）和《2030年前碳达峰行动方案》（Action Plan for Carbon Dioxide Peaking Before 2030）发布，对中国“双碳”目标进行部署。

 

“双碳”目标是我国向世界做出的庄严承诺，彰显了中国积极应对气候变化、走绿色低碳发展道路、推动全人类共同发展的坚定决心（China's firm resolve to actively⁹ deal with climate change, adopt a green and low-carbon development path, and achieve common development）。

 

五、疫苗接种

vaccination¹⁰

 

开展新冠疫苗接种是控制疫情传播的有效手段。

Vaccination is the effective way to control the pandemic.

 

2020年12月15日，我国正式启动重点人群新冠病毒疫苗接种（vaccination for key population）工作；

 

2021年3月下旬开始，我国逐步落实全人群免费接种（free vaccination for anyone who is eligible¹¹）；

 

2021年7月，“一老一小”新冠病毒疫苗接种工作（vaccination for the elderly and children under 18）稳步推进；

2021年9月，新冠病毒疫苗“加强针”的接种工作在多地开展（a number of provinces start administering booster doses）。

 

当前，我国接种的总剂次和覆盖人数均居全球首位（lead the world in terms of total doses administered and the number of vaccinated¹² people），完成新冠疫苗全程接种人数超过11亿（more than 1.1 billion people have been fully¹³ vaccinated against COVID-19），人群覆盖率位居全球前列（in a leading position in terms of the vaccination coverage¹⁴ rate）。这场大规模疫苗接种工作，离不开全国人民的共同努力。
