20th Century Fox to bring 100 movies to China annually

Chinanews, Beijing, Nov. 15 – The 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on Monday (Nov.13) announced the establishment of a representative office in China, and its plan to cooperate exclusively with Zoke Culture Group, China's largest audio-video issuance company, to develop its business in China.

"China is a very important market for Fox," said Mike Dunn, president of Fox. He also indicated that Fox would exert more efforts to expand its Chinese market. Moreover, Fox has made investigation¹ on Chinese market, and found it is the appropriate time to gain access to it now.

The representative office of Fox in China is located in Guangzhou, which is also the headquarters of Zoke Culture Group. Mike Dunn said, "In 2007, we plan to bring 100 movies to China."

In addition, Zoke Culture Group has more than 100 distribution channels and over 20 thousand retail² outlets³ throughout 23 main Chinese cities.
