The Russian online seller Pandao said Thursday that gadgets¹ produced by Chinese electronics company Xiaomi were most popular among users this year.

According to a study conducted by Pandao, Xiaomi smartphones were ahead of iPhones in terms of sales volume by some 50 percent since the start of the year.

Xiaomi's fitness bracelets², vacuum cleaners and TV sets were also well received by Russian online shoppers.

Pandao, owned by Russian Internet group Mail.ru, ranks third among e-commerce platforms of Chinese goods in Russia after AliExpress and Joom.
