中国西班牙将在基建领域加强投资合作

Chinese Premier¹ Li Keqiang has made a brief stop-over in Spain.

As part of his time in Madrid, Li Keqiang has met with the country's Deputy Prime Minister, calling for tighter Chinese ties with Spain.

The Chinese Premier has told Saenz de Santamaria he'd like to see the Spanish government provide more opportunities for Chinese companies in the country.

He says this could include the formation of a mutual² investment treaty.

For his part, Santamaria has taken time to thank the Chinese government for actively³ promoting Chinese investments in Spain during its financial crisis a few years ago.

He says Spain is willing to further expand cooperation with China in the fields of infrastructure⁴ construction, energy and chemicals.
