中共中央政治局10月16日就量子科技研究和应用前景举行集体学习。中共中央总书记习近平在主持学习时强调，要充分认识推动量子科技发展的重要性和紧迫性，加强量子科技发展战略谋划和系统布局，把握大趋势，下好先手棋。

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has stressed the importance and urgency of advancing the development of quantum science and technology. Xi made the remarks while presiding over a group study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held on Oct 16. Xi also stressed the importance of strengthening strategic planning and systematic¹ layout for the development of quantum science and technology, as well as grasping the general trend and playing good first moves.
