chef来自法语,似乎身价更高一些,多指大酒楼的厨师

cook源于古英语,多指一般的厨师或炊事人员

childish , childlike

childish孩子气的,指孩子不如人意的地方,如不懂事、幼稚、傻气等,带有贬义
