 歌手简介

她在新加坡出生却在异地的美国意外闯出名号；她感情丰沛的歌词，曾让许多离乡游子潸然泪下；她温暖却清澈透明的歌声，抚慰了在都市中早已失去方向的现代人；她浑然天成的创作才华更感动了民谣之母Carole King；她的歌声能为旅人抚慰伤痛，让时光停驻，她是Corrinne May。

Corrinne May来自新加坡，中文名叫符美芸，这个名字也许你不熟悉，但提到张韶涵的“Journey”及蔡健雅的《默契》，大家一定都耳熟能详，这两首曲子都出自于Corrinne May之手。

原本主修文学的Corrinne May因为对音乐的热爱，在美国柏克利音乐学院就读期间，就以她优异的创作才华连续两年获得校内的歌曲创作演唱大奖。毕业后她移居洛杉矶专职音乐创作，后来她参加了由天王级制作人Babyface（娃娃脸）及David Forster（大卫·佛斯特）所主办的网路音乐创作大赛，为Carole King的旧歌“If you didn't love me”重新谱曲。Corrinne May的才华不仅在美国受到肯定，在太平洋彼岸的亚洲，也以创作人的身份出现在不少音乐专辑中人。

2004年底她出了自己的创作专辑“Fly Away”，这是Corrinne May在美国发行的第一张创作专辑，Corrinne以其细腻的笔触及歌声，唱出身处在每个不同时空下旅人的故事。这张专辑中的每首歌，都值得我们细细的聆听并体会。

在广州灰蒙蒙的夜空下，我很少有闲情逸致抬头欣赏月亮，似乎我的脖子好像已经习惯了向前倾的姿势，直到听到Corrinne May 的“Same side of the moon”…… 禁不住抬头看看头顶的月亮，第一次发现广州还可以有那么美丽的夜空，那一刻，心境纯粹一如洁净的月色，谁和我们站在同一轮月亮下呢？

那些不必分离，朝着同一个方向看月亮的人，应该算得上幸运了吧！那些相隔千里，却看到了月亮的同一面的人，则是弥足珍贵的。可是， 即便在同一个屋檐下，看到的也未必是月亮的同一面，这就是生活令人沮丧的地方 —— 人的旅途终究还是孤独的。尽管身处不同时空，然而有了月光联系便不觉寂寞的。
