Nonversation 无聊谈话

Nonversation means a completely worthless conversation, wherein nothing is illuminated¹, explained or otherwise elaborated upon, typically occurs at parties, bars or other events where meaningful conversation is nearly impossible.

Nonversation（无聊谈话）指没有阐述任何实质内容，也没有任何解释或说明意义的、毫无价值的谈话，这种谈话通常发生在派对、酒吧等有意义的谈话几乎不太可能发生的场合。

For example:

Smith: What a waste of time it is talking to that guy.

跟那人聊天简直太浪费时间了。

Jones: I know, every time I do, it's like a complete nonversation.

我明白。每次跟他聊天，我都觉得谈话及其无聊。
