防止酒后驾车的alcolock（酒精锁）

酒后驾车是每个国家都面临的一个问题。虽然各国都在大力宣传酒后驾车的危害，同时也在加强惩罚力度，但全世界每年因酒后驾车丧命的人数仍未见减少。欧美国家利用酒精浓度测试仪原理研制了一种新的装置alcolock（酒精锁），有了科技的帮助，希望酒后驾车的现象会在不远的将来大幅减少。

An alcolock, or more formally a “breath alcohol ignition interlock device” (BAIID), is fitted to a car’s ignition to stop a driver from starting it if he’s over the drink-driving limit. The device is seen as a way to stop people who have been convicted of driving under the influence from offending again.

酒精锁，正式名称为“酒精气敏点火自锁装置”，是安装在汽车的点火装置内以阻止驾车人在酒精浓度超过安全标准时启动汽车的装置。该装置可以用来防止有酒后驾车纪录的人再次犯错。

The “alcolock” requires the driver to take a breath-test before the ignition can be turned on and activates¹ a lock if the result is above a certain level.

酒精锁需要驾车者在汽车点火前先进行吹气测试，如果测试结果超过安全水平，汽车联锁装置将会被激活。

In Sweden 1,500 Volvo trucks have been fitted with the Alcolock.

在瑞典，已经有1500辆沃尔沃卡车安装了酒精锁装置。
