“发掘，出土”怎么说？

    最新考古成果显示，早在5000年前，浙江良渚就已经存在一座总面积达290多万平方米的古城，那么，文物“出土，发掘”怎么说呢？

    Archaeologists are excited at the prospect¹ that the remains² of a 4,000-year-old city - larger than the Forbidden City - unearthed⁴ on the east coast could be the oldest kingdom in the nation's history.

    考古学家惊喜地发现，坐落于中国东部的浙江省良渚古城，面积比北京紫禁城还要大，距今约有4000多年历史，且可能成为中国发掘出的历史最悠久的古城。

    这里，unearth³ 表示“（从地下）出土，掘出”，古城（被）发掘表示为“old kingdom unearthed”。遗迹，遗址即ruins/remains 。

    词缀un-加名词构成动词，表示”由...取出“，或”使...丧失“，例如unhorse（从马上卸下），unmask （揭下面具），unthrone （废除王位）等等。
