Central parity rate 汇率中间价

        阅读财经报道时，若涉及到外汇牌价，常会看到“参考汇率”、“汇率中间价”等字眼，如何表达其相应的英文含义？

        请看《中国日报》相关报道：China's currency, the renminbi, has appreciated almost 5 per cent since its revaluation last July, when China ended its decade-long direct peg¹ to the US dollar and switched to a managed floating exchange rate regime.

        Its daily benchmark, or the central parity² rate for the US dollar, was 7.9087 yuan on Friday.

      “参考汇率”常用“reference rate”来表达，不过，报道中的benchmark在特定语境下也可表达相同的含义，指央行制定的“基准汇率”。

       “Central parity rate”（汇率中间价）每天由中国人民银行（央行）对外公布，是该日人民币与其他货币交易的“benchmark”（基准价），“reference rate”（参考汇率）指的就是央行公布的这个比价。

         另外，报道中的“peg”指的就是去年7月份之前的“（人民币与美元）挂钩”政策。
