Chinanews, Yangjiang, December 27 – The container of the shipwreck1 Nanhai-1 was put on land at 1:18 am today, and tomorrow the Nanhai-1 will be moved into the “crystal palace”, a special hall in the museum designed to house it.

 

5,000-plus cultural relics2 and 15,000-odd coins have been salvaged3 from the shipwreck since 2001, and the total number of cultural relics aboard is expected to be 60,000-80,000.

 

Tomorrow there will be celebration at the museum, to welcome the arrival of Nanhai-1
