    Hold On, Please

    Operator： This is the operator. Is Mr. Ken¹ Wang there, please？

    Ken ： Yes, this is he.

    Operator： I have a collect call from England.

    Ken ： Who's calling？

    Operator： It's a Mr. John Smith. Do you accept the charges？

    Ken ： Sure.

    Operator： Hold on, please.

    接线员：我是接线员。请问王肯先生在吗？

    肯 ：在，我就是。

    接线员：我这里有一个从英国打来的受话人付费电话。

    旨 ：是谁打的？

    接线员：是一位叫做约翰。史密斯的先生打的。你愿付费吗？

    肯 ：愿意。

    接线员：请等一下。
