Chinanews, Beijing, October 16 – A survey conducted in 10 provinces, autonomous1 regions and municipalities, shows that most kids aged2 between 10 and 18 take exercises for no more than 3 hours every week.

 

Nearly 60% of pupils, 40% of junior high students and 30% of senior high students say they only have 1 or 2 hours for sports every week.

 

Though there is one hour daily for sport on the curriculums of many schools in Beijing, only very few students can get the chance of exercising due to limited playgrounds. Many schools don’t even have a playground that is big enough for all their students to do morning exercise together.
