Chinanews, Beijing, October 10 According to Beijing Municipal Academy of Social Sciences, about 50% of shifting population in Beijing have stayed in the city for at least 5 years, and 80% of them have stuck to one job only.
Currently, 77% of shifting population in Beijing are married, and more than 40% of them have migrated from other places together with all their family members. By the way, nearly 80% of them have directly migrated to Beijing for better jobs.
Ten years ago, 60% of the shifting population had stayed in Beijing for no more than 6 months.
