　注一 : 大卫与下属乌利亚将军的妻子拔示芭( Bathsheba )同室、拔示芭怀孕后为怕东窗事发，设计让乌利亚战死前线，先知拿单来见他（撒母耳记下十一、十二章）。因此，大卫作诗篇五十一篇，表示他向上帝悔改的心，大卫王终生在懊悔中度过。

　注三 : 著名参孙与大利拉( Delilah )的故事。非利士人利诱大利拉找出参孙神力的秘密，参孙最终说出了力气泉源在头发的秘密。参孙为了女色，背弃了神，大利拉剪掉参孙的头发，非利士人挖出参孙双眼让他推磨。参孙最后向神忏悔，恢复了神力，推倒了神殿梁柱，与众多非利士人同归于尽。
