国务院关于贸易性动物产品出境检疫管理体制的通知

　　The “Law of the People's Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine” has already adopted at the 22nd Meeting of the Standing¹ Committee of the Seventh National People's Congress， and shall enter into force as of April 1， 1992. Article 3 of the Law stipulates²： “The organ in charge of the quarantine of animal products leaving China for trade purpose shall be designated by the State Council as it deems appropriate.” The State Council maintains that， from a long-term point of view， it is more appropriate for the agricultural department to exercise a unified³ administration over the quarantine of animal products leaving China for trade purpose， but this cannot do without a process. The State Council has， therefore， decided⁴ that the quarantine work of animal products leaving China for trade purpose shall continue to be undertaken by the State's department of commodity inspection⁵.
