A fish out of water

If you feel like a fish out of water , you  feel uncomfortable because of an unfamiliar¹ situation or unfamiliar surroundings.

eg: As a non-golfer, I felt like a fish out of water at the clubhouse.

A fish out of water的意思是来到陌生环境，对周遭感到格格不入的人。

例：由于我不会打高尔夫，所以在俱乐部中感到非常别扭
