More than 800 people and two aircraft are fighting a forest fire that broke out Wednesday in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous¹ Region, according to local authorities.

内蒙古政府报道，该地区周三突发森林大火，有800多人、两架飞机投入到灭火工作。

The fire started around noon in a forest in Chenbarerhu Banner in the city of Hulunbuir.

The fire has burned through around 300 hectares.

No casualties have been reported.
