Many Chinese tourists have fallen victim to shopping scams perpetrated by tour guides and local duty-free stores in Japan, Xinhua News Agency¹ reported. 

据新华社报道，很多中国游客成为日本购物欺诈的受害者，导游与当地免税店都参与了这种欺诈行为。

 

这里的duty-free stores就是指的“免税店”。日本放送协会（NHK）的节目指出，有些免税店产品价格比市价（market value for the products）高很多，因为店家、旅行社和导游都要抽成，导游最多可拿到总价25%的回扣。
