China to export 500,000 autos in 2007

Chinanews, Beijing, Nov. 29 – Zhang Yi, a senior official from the Ministry1 of Commerce, said on Tuesday that China would export 500 thousand automobiles2 in 2007. He said that China could export 1 million automobiles annually3 in the next two years.

 

Zhang said that the Chinese government strongly supported export of Chinese cars. In 2006, China exported 300 thousand automobiles to 181 countries and regions worldwide.
