Cooking robots appear in Shenzhen's kitchens

Chinanews, Shenzhen, Nov. 8 – According to Shenzhen Evening News, cooking robots recently appeared in Shenzhen’s kitchens. Now the robot can make most kinds of Chinese dishes.

 

On hearing the news, officials from Shenzhen’s Nanshan district government rushed to their office cafeteria kitchen to see how the robot did the cooking. They were astonished when the robot finished off fried1 beef in only 2 minutes.

 

The robot is like a refrigerator, and only occupies an area of 1.69 sq.m. But the cooks still need to put raw materials into the robot. The robot can provide 1 kilo of delicious food in 2 minutes, without producing any smoke.

 

The robot was invented by a technological2 company in Shenzhen in 2003.
