Chinanews, Beijing, October 10 – Nowadays, China has advanced technology in weather modification1, and it has set up a complete weather modification network, based on its administrative2 divisions.

 

Weather modification refers to acts of manipulating or altering certain aspects of the environment to produce desirable changes in weather, including cloud seeding and storm, hail or fog prevention.

 

Statistics show that in the first 10 months of 2006, China had conducted 19,600-plus cloud seeding operations, with 32 aircraft taking part in them.
