China Dinosaur Museum to be built in Macao

Chinanews, Beijing, September 27 – The China Dinosaur1 Museum, a subbranch of the Paleozoological Museum of China, will be built in Macao. By now tens of thousands of precious fossils have been donated by collectors to the museum.

 

The total investment on the museum project will be more than 2 billion yuan. It will be one of the most important of its kind in Asia. The Ministry2 of Construction said it would fully3 support the project both financially and technically4.

 

The museum will also serve as a paleozoological research center in Asia.

 

It is estimated that the museum will greatly boost Marco’s paleozoological studies as well as tourism.

 

The building of the museum will encourage more private capitals to take part in the protection of fossils.
