Chinanews, Wuhan, September 19 – The secret of Shennongjia Yeren (wildman) still remains1 to be revealed. Recently, several biologists gathered here to study and investigate this species.

 

The research of Yeren was kicked off in 1977, and more than 100 eye-witnesses have been reported since then, but none of them have had direct contact with the animal.

 

The biologists spent three days in investigation2, and they confirmed last Sunday the existence of large anthropoids in Shennongjia.

 

It is estimated that the Yeren might belong to the giant apes family, which are believed to have gone extinct long ago.
