Chinanews, Beijing, July 5 – According to a report by CCTV, Garrulax Galbanus, a small bird species dwelling1 in Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, is confirmed to be faced with extinction2, as there are only 150 of them left.

 

The bird has a grayish blue crest3, black eyelids4 and a yellow collar. The feathers on its upper body are light brown, and those on its tail are black but white-rimmed. Its upper-belly is bright yellow, while the feathers on the lower part gradually change into white.

 

The bird likes to live in bushes, and look for food on the ground.
