Chinanews, Shanghai, Apr. 24 – Zhong Nanshan, director of Chinese Medical Association (CMA), and other experts from CMA said that there are at least 20 million asthma1 patients in China, and only 6% of them have received formal medical treatment.

 

They made this statement at on a forum2 specially3 launched on the International Asthma Day. They also pointed4 out that doctors should evaluate and monitor asthma patients properly as a way to control such disease.

 

A publicity5 activity on preventing asthma will also be held on May 1, and experts from nearly a thousand hospitals nationwide will participate in it.
