Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said his country and Russia have agreed to build a mechanism¹ on Syria-related issues.

土耳其外长梅夫吕特·恰武什奥卢表示，土耳其与俄罗斯将就叙利亚问题建立一项机制。

The minister says the formation of the mechanism was part of a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.

It will include officials from the intelligence services, foreign ministries² and armed forces of the two sides.

The first bilateral³ meeting of this mechanism will be held in St. Petersburg on Thursday.
