The theme of the 16th Lanting Forum will be "U.S.-China Relations: Direction and Momentum2". 
 
Officials from the Chinese Foreign Ministry3, Financial Ministry, and Education Ministry will shed light on the 8th U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue as well as the 7th U.S.-China Consultation4 on People-to-People Exchange, which will be held next week.
 
Initiated5 by the Foreign Ministry, the Lanting Forum is aimed at providing a platform for government departments, international scholars, and social sectors6 to discuss international issues and Chinese foreign policies.
