Police in Spain have arrested three Moroccans with suspected links to the Islamic State group.

Police say they acted quickly out of fear that the suspects were preparing to carry out an attack in Spain similar to recent attacks elsewhere1 in Europe.
 
The three arrested have Spanish residency and are aged2 from 26 to 29. 
 
The arrest came two months after a Moroccan with Spanish residency tried to stage an attack on a high-speed train travelling to Paris.
