power lists 权力清单

China's public and media are praising the central government's recent order to its departments to disclose their "power lists" -- registers of their administrative¹ approvals.

 

中央政府近日下令让各部门公开各自的“权力清单”——行政审批事项清单，此举获得了公众和媒体的赞扬。

 

“权力清单”英文表达是power lists，公开“权力清单”即在官方网站上公开administrative approvals（行政审批事项），目的是为了最大限度地接受监督。舆论认为这有利于推动functional² transition of the governments（政府职能转变），深化reform of administrative examination and approval system（行政审批制度改革）。

 

中央政府下令公布权力清单也是为了slash red tape（削减繁文缛节），取消不必要的行政审批事项。各级政府都将逐步推行mechanism of disclosing power lists（公开权力清单制度）。
