administrative4 actions),与我们所讲的“说情”意思大抵相近。国民党考纪会(the KMT disciplinary meeting)已于11日撤销王金平党籍(to withdraw Wang's party membership)。
王金平否认关说,并对此次事件的证据收集方式(means of evidence collection)提出质疑,称电话数据为监听(wiretapping)所得,实为违法。
Lobby在美国政治中很常见,指某个群体或组织找卸任的议员等在政治圈人脉广泛的人士到政府或国会就某项立法或政策进行游说,希望政府或国会支持或反对该政策。因为此类游说多在政府或国会的走廊、大厅里进行,由此得名,而这些说客就是lobbyist。
