collaboration on addressing climate change 气候变化合作

China and the United States agreed to five new initiatives for collaboration¹ on addressing climate change in Washington, DC, on July 10, the first day of the fifth round of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED).

 

7月10日第五轮中美战略与经济对话第一天，中美就气候变化合作方面的五个新的行动计划达成一致。

 

China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue（中美战略与经济对话）是中美双方就事关两国关系发展的战略性、长期性、全局性问题而进行的战略对话（to exchange views on issues of strategic, long-term and overall significance in their bilateral² relations），首轮对话于2009年7月在美国华盛顿举行。

 

此次中美双发就气候变化合作（collaboration on addressing climate change）达成的五个行动计划包括： reducing emissions³ from heavy-duty and other vehicles（载重汽车减排）， increasing carbon capture, utilization⁴, and storage（增加碳捕集利用和封存）， increasing energy efficiency in buildings, industry, and transport（提高建筑和工业能效）， improving greenhouse gas data collection and management（加强温室气体数据收集和管理），以及promoting smart power grids⁵（推广智能电网）。
